'Get off that jet!' – Meet hilarious RAF reservist guarding £450m worth of Typhoons
Many people might consider sitting watching a line-up of Typhoon jets static on the ground at an airport for 12 hours a day a little less than exciting.
But cheerful reservist Jonny Rowley, perhaps one of the RAF's secret weapons, has given a cheeky and jokey account of his role in keeping guard over an estimated £450m worth of RAF jets at Kallax Air Base in Sweden – where he sits and watches the Typhoons that have been deployed there during Exercise Arctic Challenge.
This, he explained, included giving the pilots "the full Top Gun" and he demonstrates what that means in the video above as he explains why he loves the role.

Note: Forces News would like to emphasise Jonny was not actually the RAF’s only protection for the jets which were well and appropriately guarded with sufficient force. Jonny however, is clearly an invaluable part of the process!
