If you want to get the "Reins of the Ochre Dreamtalon" mount, remember that you'll have to wait at least 23 days. Stay patient, it's definitely worth it!
1 - Some Water...:
Interact with the Smoldering Sprout west of Central Encampment to start the multi-day questline, "Some Water," leading to the Ochre Dreamtalon mount. The sprout, found at /way #2200 48.68, 67.90, transforms to Blackened Sprout when extinguished and to the Sprout after brushing off, starting the quest.
Collect a Water Bucket from Professor Ash, fill it at the center of the spiral under the tree, and use it on the Sprout. The Sprout will turn green and a Plant Phase Growth bar will appear, filling up over five days to trigger the next quest.

2 - A Dash of Minerals...:
Go to 51, 31, use a swimming mount to kill Fathomless Lurker and collect 5 Fish Bones. Return to Professor Ash at Central Encampment (48.74, 68.01). The Sapling's growth bar should fill up a fifth daily, triggering the next quest in 5 days.
3 - The Right Food...:
- Buy one stack (of 5) Tel'Abim Banana from Saelienne at
/way #2200 49.8 61.6 Saelienne (Tel'Abim Banana)
- Next up, you'll want to find 3× Turtle Eggshell Shards. They're hiding inside those [Turtle Egg] objects around
/way #2200 41.6 77.2 (Turtle Egg objects are where you'll find the shards.)
- Then, go on a little adventure and gather 5× Lasher Plant Matter from those Fenblossom Lashlings hanging around
/way #2200 55.6 52.2 (Fenblossom Lashlings are your source for the Lasher Plant Matter.)
- Now, use that Lasher Plant Matter just once to whip up a batch of Combined Fertilizer Ingredients.
- After that, you'll need to play the waiting game for three days (72h) for the compost to do its thing. Once that's done, fly back to our buddy, the Dewy Sapling at
/way #2200 48.68 67.9 (Dewy Sapling is waiting for you.)
- Finally, have a little chat with the sapling, spread your freshly made fertilizer, and lighten the mood with a joke or a poem. Then, complete the quest with the plant and reset the wait timer.After waiting for 5 days take the new quest.
4 - And a Pinch of Magic:
Complete it in the 63, 52 area. Remember to use the totem before attacking the fire flora— it works when they're below 40% health.
After completion, return to the now-grown Thriving Sapling. Professor Ash, where you submit the quest, is on its left. Upon submission, the NPC will move to the sprout, trigger a colorful rain, and the bar will appear above the sprout again. The NPC will then speak.After waiting for 5 days, take the quest, "A Little Hope is Never without Worth"
5 - A Little Hope is Never without Worth:
Pick up the final quest. Congratulations! After 23 exciting days, you are now the proud owner of the fabulous Reins of the Ochre Dreamtalon! Enjoy your new mount!
