Gex is a platform game first released on the 3DO Interactive Multiplayer in 1995. Versions of this game were later released for Windows, PlayStation and Sega Saturn. This game was shipped with 3DO consoles late in the console's release. This is the first game in the Gex series of games, and introduces players to a new character - a witty gecko named Gex.
One day, while watching TV, Gex swallows a fly, not knowing that it is a special type of transmitter. Moments later, a huge hand emerged from the TV and sucked him in there. This hand belonged to Rez, the ruler of the TV Dimension, who decided to make Gex his new talisman and conquer the world.
