Gex (Episode 1): It's Tail Time, Baby!
3One day, Gex was watching TV as usual, when a tracking fly flew into his house. Gulping it down, he was unaware that Rez, overlord of the Media Dimension, was spying on him. Rez jams his hand through Gex's TV and pulls him into the Media Dimension. Gex needs to get back to his world, and so he must travel through the Media Dimension, take down Rez, and find his way home.

Welcome to my playthrough of Gex for the ill-fated 3DO, as well as the PlayStation, Saturn, and PC. The first game to star the titular witty gecko, voiced by comedian Dana Gould, Gex is a generally well-received platformer for the 3DO. Despite the games' and series' success back in the day, people now see Gex as just a joke with the gecko's constant talking, outdated references, and occasional taboo stuff. Even though Gex's jokes may be dated, the game itself is still quite solid, in my opinion. So sit back and watch me play and gush over one of my favorite childhood games.
