I cannot believe this exists, on April 2nd 2022, Gex Jr was discovered and released unto the world. This would have been the 4th game in the series but judging by the amount of content here, wasn't very far through development before it was shelved. I can only speculate that with the PS2 already being out by the time this prototype was made, it felt redundant to make Gex Jr for the PS1 and was subsequently canned...

Just something of a curiosity video. I played through the one available level twice just in case Gex Jr had anything else to say, but I think we caught everything within the first 2 minutes. Then I went into the Gex Jr model viewer, which lets you rotate using the D-Pad as he does his animations.

I can only imagine how many other children's TV references Gex Jr would have had...
