5Ghost hunting while on a budget. let's face it, we don't all have direct access to the top tech to hunt down the wraiths of the other world so we need to make due with what we have. There are many ways you can bring together basic tech or score hardware off of Ebay from China as long as you don't mind waiting about a month to have the stuff shipped to you.
An old camera will often come with night vision lights attached. I personally have an old DV mini recorder that is quite dated but will still record and show you what's going on even in pitch black.
EMF detectors are easily available on eBay. You definitely get what you pay for but we aren't really looking for a unit that is perfectly in spec. What we need is a yes or a no. Is something breaking through he barrier of the living and the dead? Yeah it might throw off some elector magnetic waves. Maybe something in the 8th dimension is focusing in on our 3D world and trying to focus in on us as we try to contact those lost to our third dimensional senses. That could probably throw off some EMF waves.
A standard thermometer temperature checker and hydrometry is also a great thing to have around. Again there is a lot of things going on in the world around us that we don't pick up on or sense easily at all.
A lot of tools that ghost hunters use can also be obtained for free from app stores on Android or iPhones. Once again, they may not be perfectly calibrated but they definitely can give you a YES or a NO if any fluctuation happens in your environment. A standard smart phone can tell you the temp, the humidity, area from sea level, and read electromagnetic fields. They can also be used as metal detectors. Also they are great for recording exactly what is going on infront of you as you are doing your investigation. If you don't get it on camera it doesn't count these days.
