Even though race and casting will never stop being an issue, it isn't the biggest reason a film can turn out bad. Its important to realize when a movie does things right. 2017's Ghost In the Shell is one of those times. It has set the bar for how Hollywood adapted Anime films can be made well, and any future project will hopefully take notes and improve.
