Hell, even the craziness in Juarez seem distant, too. Wars are funny that way. You try and push back all the bad shit that you went through during that time. Only to face it again a few years later, down the road. The weapons may have changed. But the continuous ambitions of nations, and their people, haven't. Same shit; different day, but a more effective method of killing.
