The developer reached out to me and asked me if I'd give this a shot, and like I usually do - I said yes. I like Metroidvanias, I was in the mood for something 30 minutes or less - so where we are.

Overall it's a positive experience. There are some frustrating elements regarding combat and flying enemies, some difficulties with navigation, and lack of feedback on the boss battles - but as a game jam entry it's certainly impressive. As a game itself, it is still impressive. I look at it as an early work of art, that will simply improve over time.
