After being knocked unconscious by a mysterious creature at the end of Penumbra: Overture, we wake up to find ourselves in some sort of makeshift prison, with nothing but our wits. What horrors will we find in this mysterious underground research facility, and what kind of secrets are they hiding?

Today we enter into what appears to be the main hub of the underground base. After exploring a bit we come across an area that is filled with lethal gas. What could possibly go wrong?
