I've been nominated to do the ALS Ice Bucket Challenge and here it is. I nominate my big brother Cell and my friends Vega and Denise.

ALS - also known as Lou Gehrig's disease - stands for amyotrophic lateral sclerosis and it's a neurodegenerative disease that usally appears first around the age of 50. It causes a gradually proceeding muscle spasticity and dysfuntion of swallowing, speaking and breathing. On average the time of survival from beginning to death is 39 months and every year 2000 people die from ALS in Germany alone.

The Ice Bucket Challenge is not only for fun it was created to raise awareness. If you have a penny to spare please visit the Website of the ALS foundation or any other charity foundation that you care about and donate in order to just slightly improve the situation on this planet.
