Hecta-EX is...actually pretty easy. You only fight a few Hannibal + double Cherub comps, and solve 2 puzzles. The main challenge in this mission is to beat Grig. Twice.

The mission requires you to plant bombs on all 5 Radars as well as defeat Grig. For this mission, I will be using 3 RFHGs. 1 RFHG with Shield Fairy will fight the Hannibal + double Cherub enemies, while the other 2 RFHGs will each take a Grig fight. In the beginning, deploy the Shield RFHG on the Command Post, the 1st Grig team on the top left Heliport, and the 2nd Grig team on the bottom left Heliport.

Now, let's take a look. One of the bottom Radars is locked behind Defense Gates, so we will need to use the Control Panel on the right side of the map. Oh wait, there's no power for that Control Panel. This means we'll need to use the substation on the left side of the map. Oh wait, that's also locked behind a Defense Gate. Looks like I'll have to use the Control Panel on the top left side of the map (the node with the Hannibal).

So that's what we're going to do on Turn 1. Bring your RFHG over to that Panel. You should be able to get there on Turn 1 with exactly 8 AP. Once you activate the Control Panel, you will be brought to a puzzle layer with Dandelion. This puzzle involves you using the Control Panels to rotate the paths on the map. The goal is to connect the 2 Heliports on the top right and bottom left sides of the map with a straight diagonal path.

Here's the idea of what you'll do on Turns 2 and 3. On Turn 2, you will use some AP on Grig 1 RFHG to move them closer to Grig. The rest of the AP will be used on Dandelion. On Turn 3, you should have enough AP to kill Grig, plant the bomb and move to safety. Note that the requirements for this Grig fight isn't high, since the fight ends when Grig reaches 50% HP.

Once this fight is done, you will see that another Grig has popped up on the bottom side of the map, behind the Defense Gates. An additional Radar has also appeared on the map. Use the remaining AP you have on Turn 3 to continue the Dandelion puzzle. Continue the puzzle on Turn 4 and complete it.

I recommend trying out the puzzle, it's fun. If you're too lazy or too dumb, you can just watch this video and see how it's done.

Once you're done with the Dandelion puzzle, use the remaining AP on Turn 4 to:
- move Grig 1 RFHG to the substation and activate it
- move your main RFHG towards the center Radar

On Turn 5, you will do the following:
- move your main RFHG to the center Radar and plant the bomb. Take the first Hannibal fight
- then, move to a spot to camp the second Hannibal fight
- use your Grig 2 RFHG to activate the Control Panel
- position both RFHGs such that you do not aggro the third Hannibal. No need to go out of your way to take unnecessary fights

Activating the second Control Panel launches a second Dandelion puzzle which is larger and significantly more challenging. This puzzle should take you 3 turns to clear. Again, try solving this on your own, and only consult this video if you're too lazy or too dumb to figure it out.

On Turn 9, move your main RFHG to a spot where you do not aggro the bottom Hannibal, and use Grig 2 RFHG to defeat Grig. Now, this is the same Grig as the one before, but this time, you need to bring her to 0 HP to win the fight. This is a really challenging fight, so bring your best DPS RFHG. There are other solutions, such as SF echelons and M4ex, and you can also bring HOCs if you need them. The video demonstrates an RFHG solution which uses no HOCs.

If you used the same pathing as I did, on Turn 10, you should have exactly enough AP to plant the last 3 bombs without getting into any more fights. Once that is done, you will need to detonate the bombs from one of the starting Heliports. Use Grig 2 RFHG to get to the detonator and detonate the bombs. Don't worry if any of your echelons are on the Radars, they take no damage from the bombs. The mission is done once you detonate the bombs.
