[Girls' Frontline] Theater 9 Core 8 - The No HOC Challenge
Alright, now that we've done the Prototype Fairy test, let's try out no HOCs next, using the same team.
Like all other strongholds, Core 8 is an Electronic stage. Core 8 is a night stage. The objectives here are:
- Clear the stage
- Have at least 4 dolls remaining on the battlefield at the end of the battle (you can only lose or retreat one doll per fight)
- Have no HGs in combat echelon
ARs and SMGs are advantaged today, and RFs are disadvantaged today. SF HOCs get a 3x multiplier and G&K HOCs get a 2x multiplier.
The Battlefield Effects of this stage are:
- The echelon's leader gets 50% stat buffs
- Allies' ROF reduces by 20% while their damage increases by 20%
- Every 10 seconds, generate a shield that is equal to 30% of the echelon's lost HP. The shield lasts 6 seconds.
Each objective gives 5k points, and there are 6 waves in Core 8, and this totals up to 90k. You can get up to 83782 CE today, so this totals up to a maximum of 173782 points.
So, how do you stack this stage? Simple, the ideal stack contains (oath/unoath values if applicable):
- 27/26 ARs and 3/4 SMGs
- 29 PEQs, 20 chips, 25 HV ammo, 0/1 T-exo, 0/1 AP ammo, 3 HP ammo and all relevant speqs
- 3-4 petal Dreamer, BGM and AGS
After 2 seasons of night AR stacking, many of you would've achieved this, or something close to this. Note that depending on who makes the stack, you may be using less chips (example: G41 speq). You may also have 6P62 in your stack, which is 1 less HV ammo used. If you have more SMGs in your stack, your HV/chip usage goes down too.
For people coping in their CE stacking, here are some general guidelines to follow:
- Ensure that you have at least enough PEQs for all your ARs. ARs lose up to 1k CE if you replace PEQs with a scope. Use whatever PEQs you have: Green, Blue or even White ones.
- Most ARs max out their CE gain at 99% Night Vision. Most SMGs max out their CE gain at 95% Night Vision. This might help you ration your Calibration Tickets
- If you have enough PEQs, prioritize the Gold ones on ARs. SMGs can cope with lower rarity PEQs or a Silencer instead of a PEQ
- Once you run out of Chips, you cope stack ARs with T-exos or use more SMGs instead
- Angelica's ideal CE uses a Chip instead of her speq. However, if you do not have enough chips, you can use her speq instead, and use that chip on a different doll
Note that since this is a night stage, you can only use at most 1 SF HOC with the Night Vision accuracy chip for ideal CE stacking. But this is not relevant for 99.999% of players today. Most of you do not have a 3-petal Dreamer/Architect, so bring your 3 highest CE G&K HOCs. If you're struggling to clear the waves, bring these 3: BGM/AT-4/Mk153, 2B and PP-93
So the team I've used here consists of:
- RO Mod 3 leader
- Ribey Mod 3, Val Mod 3, AN-94 Mod 3, Honey Badger
- Shield Fairy
No HOCs are used across all 6 waves.
Turns out that Core 8 is...very doable even with no HOCs. The fights just take a much longer time because of the force shields. Kek.
