After destroying three pulse generators, Cortana asks Chief to destroy Halo using fuel rods from the Pillar of Autumn. But first, rescue Captain Keyes from the Flood-infested Covenant Cruiser, Truth and Reconciliation. Chief is teleported upside down to the Cruiser.

Unable to save Keyes, Cortana and Chief take his implant to trigger a reaction on the Pillar of Autumn, destroying Halo and preventing universal devastation. With Cortana's urging, Chief returns to where it began, determined to end it all.

🟥 And the Horse you rode in on
When Chief crashes Banshee, return to Flood-infested hallways. Objective: reach bridge, start self-destruct. Head left into red-lit access. Encounter Infection and Carrier Forms. Wait for Carrier Forms to explode before descending. Sentinels fight, use iron beam for cover. Proceed, trigger checkpoint. Find Combat forms with Shotguns. Take Shotgun for Flood. Unlock door, face more Flood. Use grenades and Plasma if no Shotgun. Follow hallway to Canteen. Use corridors as cover, attack and retreat. Eliminate Carrier, Infection forms, 2 Hunters. Keep Magnum for kills. Enter Canteen, thin ranks of Elites, Grunts with Magnum. Eliminate Grunts, grab Plasma Pistol. Combo Elites with Pistol and Magnum. Throw grenades, eliminate enemies. Retrieve Shotgun. Ammo, grenades, health available. Leave through back. Arrive at Bridge. Stick Elite, eliminate Grunts. Cutscene triggers, Cortana starts 20-min countdown. Monitor appears, shuts down timer. Solution: go to Engineering, break shell casing, overload cores manually. Sentinels spawn, fight or run. Reach armor room, grenade entrance, eliminate Flood. Proceed to back door, avoid opening as Flood and Hunters fight. Wait or bypass. In next room, kill Infection Flood. Use iron girders for cover against Sentinels. Dispose of Infection Flood, continue. Climb ladder, kill Flood, enter left room, fire at Sentinels. Push through Flood, use Shotgun, grenades. Beware of Carrier Forms. Overshield, Health Pack available. Proceed to open area. Enter walkway with Grunts, Forms, eliminate, continue to room. Large glitched door. Let Sentinel battle Flood, access fight through another way. Use doorway, lure enemies, exploit bottleneck. Defeat Flood, reach hall fork. Visit Armory for Rocket, Shotgun ammo. Return to Engineering, beware of Invisible Flood.

🟥 Light Fuse, Run Away
Enter the Engine Room and hear the Monitor flying around. Ignore shooting him and conserve ammo. Take the ramp on the right, grab health if needed, and enter the door on the left. Follow the path up to Level 3, dealing with Flood in the hallway. Choose the furthest core to start with, press the button on the console, and quickly jump down onto the retracting shaft. Turn around and fire a rocket into the exposed core. Repeat this process for the remaining cores, jumping back onto the Level 3 platform each time. After the fourth core is destroyed, a door at the top of the engine room opens. Jump back onto the landing with the consoles and proceed through the doorways to find an elevator. Grenade the elevator as it comes down, eliminate the Grunts and Elites, and board the elevator for the final run.

🟥 Warning: Hitchhikers May Be Escaping Convicts
After destabilizing Autumn's engines, escape is vital before the planet is destroyed. Enter the lift and listen to Cortana's conversation with Echo 419 about evacuation. Quickly jump into a Warthog to start the adrenaline-fueled run. Cortana allows 5 minutes to cover 2.1 kilometers to reach extraction. Drive up the left ramp, speed through the immense room, take the middle route, navigate the tunnel, circle the pillar, and continue down the center path. Enter another tunnel, hugging the left wall in the next room. Maintain a straight trajectory, align the blue cursor for control and speed, avoid stopping, and evade fires. Maneuver through the tunnel, power slide around pillars, and plow through fires. Choose sides in the next room. In the fourth room, take the central path, adjusting to avoid flipping. Keep driving down the middle, employing power slides. Cross the bridge without stopping, as Echo 419 is shot down. Cortana recalculates, leaving 1.4 kilometers to safety. Maintain maximum speed, leap over the gap, navigate the final tunnel, using sides of pillars and avoiding enemies. Arrive at the Shuttle bay, bid farewell to the Warthog, navigate debris, and reach the Longsword Fighter. Escape Halo in time for its catastrophic destruction.
