🟥 The Nomad
V removes the Nomad clan patch from the mirror, signifying a new journey. Visit the unhelpful mechanic in the middle-of-nowhere town. Explore the shop to find a Shard and consumables. Talk to the mechanic and fix the car yourself. Deal with the radio antenna issue and inform the sheriff of your departure. Drive out of the garage into the Badlands.

🟥 Go to the Telecom Tower
Before heading to the Telecom Tower, explore for extra items to sell later. Enter the mechanic's office and find $100 in the drawer. Across the street, find another Shard and $61 near the guy playing guitar. Drive toward the tower but stop to walk to the right between the trailers for more items. Kick open the gate, climb the stairs, hook in your radio, and talk to Nomad pal McCoy. Hop across the gap for a container and descend the tower. Check the platform for discarded junk. Return to your car.

🟥 Head to the Meeting Place
Enter your car and follow the map to a lone trailer. There's not much to find yet, but you'll receive a message if you explore further, indicating something for later.

🟥 Meet Jackie Wells
Exit your car near the trailer. Find junk around the trailer, then enter and exchange formalities with Jackie. Explore the trailer for a Shard and $45. Tell Jackie to load the crate into the car and hop in to start the next objective.

🟥 Drive to the Border
Drive back the way you came, take a right at the first intersection, and continue straight to the border. Ignore the worthless junk along the road.

🟥 The Checkpoint
Approach the checkpoint slowly. Wait for the car ahead to move and hand over the declaration form. Receive the credit chip from Jackie and follow the arrows to the customs building. Hand over weapons, chat with others, and enter Room 2 for the interview. Give your answers and consider bribing. Retrieve your gun and return to the car.

🟥 Welcome to Night City
Jackie takes the wheel, and Corporate Agents force you off the road. Fight them off from the car window. Shoot down pursuing vehicles and heal if needed.

🟥 New Friends
Stop in a garage and talk to Jackie. Explore the area for junk and Common Item Components. Discuss plans and find an iguana in the crate. Continue the conversation and prepare for a montage.

🟥 Practice Makes Perfect
Jackie offers a Militech training shard. Take the shard and complete the combat tutorial. Optionally, complete additional tutorials for more experience. Exit the VR simulation through the door.

🟥 The Rescue
Main Job mission in the Prologue and V and Jackie's first gig together. After the tutorial, V takes on Wakako Okada's gig to rescue a kidnapped client. Exit the vehicle and follow Jackie. In the garage, find a new armor piece in the suitcase (requires level 2) and collect sellable junk. Proceed to the elevator where T-Bug provides info. The target is Sandra Dorsett, and her survival is uncertain. Grab the Maxdoc MK.1 and collect more items soon. Choose to help a woman or enter the messy room and collect Shards and items. Silently eliminate the enemy by the freezer. Approach the bathroom/kitchen combo, scan enemies, and hack. Team up with Jackie for stealth or engage in a firefight. Create distractions and land headshots on the boss. Go to the back of the apartment, remove the Shard blocking the rescue device, and ask Jackie for the airhypo. Escort Sandra to the balcony for pickup by medics.

Armed medics dislike V if they don't exit their vehicle. Step back, place the patient on the stretcher, and wait for them to leave. Clear the apartment if desired, collect junk, Shards, ammo, and items. Grab weapons from enemies for parts or selling. Return to the elevator and call Wakako for an update. Money will be received later due to a lockdown. Gain two Street Cred upon exiting the elevator. Enter the passenger seat, and Jackie drives you out of the garage. Scavengers attack during a rainy car ride. Take out the few in the van, including the driver. Encounter a police blockade. Support Jackie, scan people and vehicles. Witness an elite police unit taking out gang members. Skip or enjoy the car ride. Arrive at V's apartment. Earn Level 2, an attribute point, and a perk point. Head to the elevator in the garage, go up to your floor. T-Bug calls with info on a netrunner program. Remember it. Enter your apartment, check your Stash, and go to bed.
