Gloomwood's Early Access Is Surprisingly Concerning & Overpriced
9What is up guys, Mojave here. In this video, I express my concerns and opinions on the state of gloomwoods early access. I implore you to watch this video in it's entirety with an open mind.
I know this video may rustle a few feathers, but I am willing to handle the fallout for the sake of this games development.
The asking price of Gloomwood($18-20) with it's sparse amount of content and lackluster gameplay is a bad look. Despite the brilliant level design and atmosphere, gameplay is king, and in this early access, there is an appalling lack of content.
Being a person who has been waiting anxiously for this game to come out, I didn't even hesitate to buy this game, and I felt the way it was being showcased and the amount of time since the actual demo, gave me an expectation that there'd be more. And because of that, I felt the release of this early access was exploitative. It pains me to have to do this, but after nuthugging this company and their games for many years, I've had enough and must speak out.
