The game’s two protagonists, Gloomy, a sweet zombie boy, and Nena, a mischievous human girl, find themselves in a world shrouded in darkness after humanity’s stupidity led to the sun abandoning them. Defying the conflict between the living and the undead, these two unusual souls, each with their own quirks and abilities, must forge a forbidden bond and embark on a quest to bring back the daylight.
Taking place in a meticulously crafted universe brimming with macabre charm and devilish details, Gloomy Eyes presents players with multiple dioramas to explore. Each diorama can be viewed from multiple perspectives, and are packed with secrets to uncover, puzzles to solve, and a whimsically haunting atmosphere that will pull at even the most undead heartstrings.
Gloomy Eyes’ self co-op gameplay sees players control both Gloomy and Nena in an entirely single-player experience. Switch between each character to utilise their individual abilities, and overcome challenges that put both their (and your) skills to the test as you solve environmental puzzles within the delightfully wretched darkness.
