GM Bassem Amin is the best African-Arab player. He has a rating of 2686 and a couple of months ago was the first player from that region to have crossed 2700. Egypt was paired against India in the 7th round of the Batumi Olympiad 2018 and Bassem played against GM Vishy Anand. How did he prepare for this encounter?
