1. Download Geary Flatpak
https://flathub.org/apps/details/org.gnome.Geary

2. Go to Google Accounts
https://myaccount.google.com/

3. On Security enable 2-Step Verification

4. Go on App Passwords and choose Email

5. Open Geary and use the password you created above!

On Flatpak Geary your accounts settings are under:
$HOME/.var/app/org.gnome.Geary/config/geary
