Go Fish (reward: Jewel of the Rumare) - Side Quest Walkthrough (TES IV Oblivion)
11The Quest for the Jewel of the Rumare
This unique ring is received by doing a simple, but easy to miss quest by the name of Go Fish.
To start this quest, talk to Aelwin in Weye, which is just west of the Imperial City, shortly after the bridge ends.
Your task is to kill and loot 12 Rumare Slaughterfish, which are located east of Weye in lake Rumare. Since Oblivion automatically assumes that all of its players are mentally deficient, you may simply follow the quest marker. Be careful as the fish are pretty good at bringing your health down.
Once you have 12 rumare slaughterfish scales, bring them to Aelwin. Your reward is the Jewel of the Rumare, a low level, but useful ring, since it has water breathing.
