Go Straight (game) -N.T./D84 REMIX- (4K HD) OLD October Version
16This is my 2021 remix of the "Go Straight" (game) song, from the iconic beat em' up sequel: Streets of Rage 2/Bare Knuckle II, on the Sega Mega-Drive/Sega Genesis/(セガメガドライブ).
Even though my last Go Straight remix was well received, and I thank everybody who liked it for that, I think this version absolutely blows the previous one away! One of the things that I was not happy with on the last edit was the main riff, it lost the original feel, the FM synth sound that is absolutely iconic. This version is pretty much all new, almost every sound has been changed, and the main riff is now more like the original 16-bit version again thank god. The chorus piano's were also something I really wanted to change, even though the original piano's from the 16-bit version are an attempt at a piano, (a hardware-limited attempt), I still wanted to emulate that piano sound, it might be me being nostalgic I don't know, but I think the chorus does sound much better for it. If Streets of Rage 2 ever got a remake, this is how I would approach remixing the Go Straight first stage song.
NOTE: I will be deleting the previous edit, many apologies, it's just that I want the remix to be as best as possible, plus it clutters up the uploads and people won't know which is the best version to listen to.
