“Go-Toubun no Hanayome” Gets TV Anime Adaptation
Negi Haruba’s schoolcomedy “Go-Toubun no Hanayome” (aka “The Quintessential Quintuplets”) will be getting an animated TV adaptation, to be broadcast in 2019 on TBS. Cast members and participating staff are still under wraps, so do check out their official website
“Go-Toubun no Hanayome” tells the story of Fuutarou Uesugi, a down-on-his-luck high school student who takes on a tutoring job to feed himself and his younger sister Raiha. The tutoring job turns out to be for the wealthy Nakano family, and their five identical quintuplet daughters Ichika, Nino, Miku, Yotsuba, and Itsuka — who are all suspicious of Fuutarou and are determined to make life miserable for him.
