Hermes is most often the messenger god, who carried messages between the gods and mortals and between the gods themselves. He was also said to preside over travelers, thieves, and shepherds.
Hermes appears as a Boss in God of War III. While not a difficult opponent per se, he is preceded by a chase sequence in which Kratos must pursue Hermes across the City of Olympia in running sections, and climbing. In both instances some of the infrastructure will crumble prompting Kratos the need to act quickly or fall to his death.
