In this guide I'll should you how to easily defeat Bjorn the first boss you will come across in God of War Ragnarok.

Bjorn has two attack phases:

Phase 1 - Bjorn will generally do two blockable swiping attacks followep up by either a blockable "yellow ring" attack, or two blockable swiping attacks followed up by a "Red Ring" attack.
The best strategy for dealing with these is to block the swiping attacks with your shield by pressing "L1" and the third attack by pressing in a direction and tapping "X" twice, this will make you jump out of the way and completely avoid the damage.

Phase 2 - This phase will be a little more complicated and faster moving. Bjorn will now add a triple "red ring" unblockable attack combo and if you don't dodge the damage caused will be significant. This is easily dodgeable though just hold a direction, tap X twice, once he executes the first attack tap "X" twice again, and same thing with the third. Then follow up with some quick combo damage and rinse and repeat.
