Godzilla Kaijuu Daikessen (or more commonly referred to as Godzilla: Monster War by NA fans) was released for the Super Famicom in 1994 by Toho and developed by Alfa System. Originally planned on being officially released in NA under the name Godzilla: Destroy All Monsters, for whatever reason it was cancelled and never saw the light of day outside of Japan. The game plays as a typical 2D tournament fighter, taking notes from SNK and Capcom fighters it's motions and mechanics. Although it doesn't hold up as much as other fighters from the decade, it would have been a dream come true for any Godzilla fan in the 90's. Come join us and see for yourself!
