did some research and it seems a lot of GMOM's ost has a problem

usually, the second square channel in most NES Compositions is always slightly delayed, but is way quieter in order to give the songs a sort of reverb or echo effect
However, if this is used improperly, then not only will the pseudo-reverb effect fail, but certain songs will also sound worse than they were intended to because of it.
Of course, G: MOM has this issue in spades, and while most normal people (who aren't me) don't realize this, I still felt the need to correct one of the songs what suffers the most from this issue.
What could possibly be the reason for this issue, though? Licensed NES game was rushed to meet a holiday release
