Godzilla vs Kong Chinese Trailer FULL BREAKDOWN
Well, the first scene of the Chinese trailer shows Kong waking up from a siesta and casually yawning to kingdom kong. At first, it looks like Kong is back in Skull island with the similar vegetation and all. But when we saw Jia running through the trees towards the ape titan, we can also see that everything is under surveillance. Kong is actually not in his own island but in a Monarch facility and it could be that he is trapped like a zoo animal inside a gigantic mega structure made especially for him and it could be that he is underwater. The question of why Monarch is Containing Kong is up to debate, it could be that he has been taken away or that he was rescued from a dying island.
the next scene in the trailer where Kong and the little girl Jia communicate with each other using a unique form of sign language, They both said Home, which means that they both came from the same place, Jia might have been from the indigenous Iwi tribe of Skull island which makes her Kong’s homegirl and hence his last connection with skull island, therefore she becomes one of the most important elements of the show. Then we see the scene of kong fashioning a tree into a javelin and throws it at the sky which surprisingly is just a projection of the sunset scene in Skull island. A bit into the trailer we see a new scene, one which connects with the first trailer of Kong holding up the battle axe. In this one we see Kong sitting holding the battle axe like a King sitting on his throne with a sceptre. This confirms that the ancient Kongs weren’t just savage yet intelligent titans but maybe they also had a culture and a civilization
We then see a very interesting scene of Madison Russell inside a room filled with experimental chambers that kinda looked like big incubation chambers. She said here we go, menaing that she is either piloting some craft that houses these brood chambers or she could be inside mechagodzilla himself. Then we come to the Lex luthor of Godzilla vs Kong, Ren serizawa is seen ready to board a helicopter leaving Hong Kong just as soon as Godzilla enter the city. He stands there on the rooftop helipad unfazed at the entry of the king of the monsters which means that Godzilla was drawn towards the city and that everything was going according to plan for him.
IN this scene it was Kong trying to remove the Axe from one of the buildings and Godzilla sees this as an opportunity to attack from behind. Then we see him bite Kong’s shoulder like how he did to the female MUTO in the first movie, hopefully it would not end in the same way. We get the scene of Team Godzilla cheering on for the win. Then again we see parts of the ocean battle scenes.
Then lastly we get a part of the same scene as before of Kong and Godzilla roaring at each other but this one shows what happened. It shows that Godzilla manages to get Kong down on the ground and with his signature stomp, he puts his thick thighs on old hairy cheek’s chest. Kong is seen trying to move the Big G’s leg but could not manage to do so
