Adam Wingard, the director of Godzilla vs. Kong talks about what influenced his vision of Hollow Earth, the source of all the creatures in the Monsterverse. Citing Alien and Star Wars as his inspiration to depart from the standard Journey to the Center of the Earth visuals, Wingard reveled in being the one responsible for bringing the Hollow Earth to life.
