An action platforming 'metroidvania' game (heavy on the 'vania') about fighting your way through the ruins of a castle, said to be used to protect the remains of a powerful entity in order to stop her return. With slower than usual combat for such a genre and an emphasis of the use of items and elemental/chemical interactions, Lost Ruins can feel a little strange to settle into but the lovely pixel graphics and the odd characters are sure to help make it through.
