An classic-feeling action-adventure game with RPG elements and a wonderfully dulled down art style that instantly pulls players right into the bleak, yet endlessly intriguing, world. Whilst the big baddies could have been a bit of a tougher challenge, especially since they were each built up so much, the simple combat system is still fun, remaining engaging right up until the end. Above all else, the writing in Death's Door often blew me away and I enjoyed just existing in the world so much that I went back and cleaned up all the collectibles once I was done!
