I'm Icelandic so I can just go there when the path is open. But recently there have been a lot of earthquakes on the south west area in Iceland and that's where I live so I felt most of the earthquakes. Than a volcano erupted and the earthquakes have stopped. If you want to go there than be very careful because there are a lot of toxic gases coming from the volcano, and lava is very hot. The lava is around the volcano itself is around 1200c in temperature and under the crust that everyone is close to there is lava around 500c-800c. And the crust itself can be around 50c-100c in temperature.
