Golden Axed is the last game in the series of Free Games released exclusively to celebrate the 60th Anniversary of SEGA (I recorded the gameplay with the Xbox Gaming Tool). It is the Proof-of Concept of the Cancelled Game Golden Axe Reborn. It is sad, since it definitely had potential to be a great game. Nice voice acting, cool graphics, good sound design, but they are not kidding when they said that it was an unfinished product.

There is just one level, three types of enemies, and it's easy to beat by mashing the attack button. The only precaution to take is to avoid getting enemies on your rear. It's hinted that you had to fight the Boss that is sitting in the last Room you visit, but the game ends right there, which is underwhelming. The game turned to be so short that I played twice in this video, and you can't lose. If you die, you will respawn by falling from the sky and getting back to the place you died before.
