I personally think this theme and the battle it plays in perfectly represents the game as a whole. It's starts out strong, and you can feel the tension and excitement of the moment. It has a unique concept and it keeps changing its mood throughout the entire thing. And you can even appreciate how one-of-a-kind it is.

But the downside is that it drags on for too long. It keeps going and going, and you really start to get sick of it, especially because of the slow pacing and dreary tone; and the repetition soon wanes on you.

Oh, sorry, I didn't mean to offer this song a backhanded compliment. It's just that, I always felt this way about the battle ever since I played the game quite a while ago.

Listening to this song on occasion can still give it a fresh feel.
