I imagine not many VGM lovers prefer the Genesis over the SNES. 'Cause let's face it, the Genesis' sound chip makes its game music far mare difficult to compare superiorly over some fantastic SNES classic soundtracks, like say... Chrono Trigger, Final Fantasy VI, Mario, Yoshi, and especially Donkey Kong.
That's not to say all Genesis music is bad though. It can be just as good as the SNES, but it would be far more difficult to do so. Usually the best Genesis music either resides in games developed by Sega, or when if it consists of rock 'n' roll, funk, or something similar.
QuackShot, even though it is developed by Sega, has a very meh soundtrack. I honestly really don't like it. That is except for this theme. It's mysterious and quite foreboding.
