Goldeneye Source - MV_Strait playthrough
Here's a playthrough of a fun map created for Goldeneye Source.
The map features an obstacle course with a total of 5 sections and 8 checkpoints, Demonstrating several advanced jumping and movement techniques in the Source engine as well as unique movement features to Goldeneye Source.
The map has been created by Entropy-Soldier, Also known as E-S, A member of the GE:S QA team.
The map also has a bonus area with an extra 10 challenges, Plus another 5 secret challenges. I will not demonstrate those parts in this video, This video only demonstrates the main course.
I have recorded every checkpoint as a single-segment run, Except for one which I edited out due to a minor mistake I made during the beginning of the run, It is barely noticeable.
Goldeneye Source uses a jump timer, Meaning you cannot jump more than once every two seconds or so, Making it impossible to bunny hop our way through, Hence why I take stops every once in a while so I'm sure I won't fall off gaps.

For those wondering why I did not complete the run, It is because I am unable to longjump, And always have been unable to. I've tried longjumping countless times (Used to practice about an hour a day in CS1.6 when I was an active KZ player) but never got past more than 241 units, Even then, I had a hard time hitting 235 units.
