GoldenEye Wii - Cradle (Time Trial - Operative) in 7:40 UWR
4This is a really clean run with almost no mistakes. There are a few minor things that could be improved, though. The intro where I kill the first 3 guards is not perfect. An ideal intro would have a 12:45 on the on-screen timer, but this run had a high 12:44 (the timer counts down, so higher is better). It's possible to save a little under a second here. Next, I could have landed higher up on the stairs after hovering into the Trev fight. I'm not too concerned about this since it's not incredibly common to land on the stairs at all, so i'll take it. This last one is a bit harder to measure, but I feel I could have saved a bit more time with my sprint cancelling. Besides those things, this is about as good of a Cradle run as I could ask for. I know 7:39 is possible but I don't think I'm going to attempt that until I improve the other difficulties first.
Side note: The slow-motion bit at the end where you finally kill Trevelyan is faster on the higher difficulties. The reason is because the game gives you less time to act in the slow motion parts on higher difficulties. As a result, this is the only level in the game that is faster on 007 and 007 Classic. Operative is the slowest difficulty here, and Agent is somewhere in between. The difference between Operative and 007/Classic feels like an eternity but it's probably about 2 seconds. I haven't timed it yet but I will soon.
