I address two major issues in this video.
On Monday, June 10th, YouTube and Google's A.I. / automated processes demonetized our entire channel, and didn't give me a clear reason as to why. I still have no idea how we violated YouTube's terms, what video(s) got flagged, etc. so all we can do is speculate. YouTube's automated systems do NOT communicate issues clearly right now- if I knew what I needed to fix to begin with, I could fix it right away, and wouldn't have to make this video.
There's also a bigger issue. The demonetization appeal process can take up to 44 days before we are screened and re-monetized, during all of which we will not be earning AdSense, which makes up about 90-95% of the channel's total income. Even a few days without revenue causes an immense amount of stress on company finances- we have six full-time independently contracted directors, as well as several part time animators and other team members on staff that all rely on a consistent paycheck. As mentioned in the video, we're losing over $1000 USD per day that this goes on. It's going to be a huge blow to content production in the months to come if we cannot get this resolved soon.
