I ordered on June 6 along with many of you. I was surprised that I had an estimated delivery date of November 20-21. I was of course disappointed. I made a quick YouTube video about it, but then I heard there was a trick, update your address and it changes your shipping date. I tried it and for sure it worked! I replied to my YouTube video to let people know about the trick and the "It worked" replies started pouring in. I went to bed thinking job done!

This morning I was reading through the Stadiacast discord and people that had tried the address trick were reporting that it had reverted to the previous date. I checked and sure enough so did mine! I also had someone reach out with a screen shot of a chat with what seemed like a bot from the store, telling them that the Founder's Editions would be shipping first week of November. Annoyed and confused I decided to call Google myself and ask a person.

After fighting with the fact that my phone is set up to ignore calls from phone numbers I don't know. (an awesome feature I forgot I had turned on and will never turn off) I finally was able to get Google support to call me. Alex, my customer support specialist told me on the phone that I had an estimated delivery date of November 6-7. I asked if he could tell me why the website was telling me something different, after a brief hold, he came back and asked me for a screenshot of my order with the November 20-21 date on it. He sent me an email asking for a screenshot which I provided, he said he had to go talk to his bosses about it, and put me on hold again this time it was a LONG hold.

Apparently Google has ONE song for being on hold..... ONE!!!!!
If I have to listen to this song one more time I'm going to smash something! AHHHHHHHH!
Alex is back, If I ever hear that song again I'm going to scream.
He said that what I am seeing is a bug in the system, the same bug that happens when you order pixel phones from google (his words) After confirming with the second level of support he said that "There will be no changes to the estimated delivery date, but I could rest assured that I would be receiving my Founder's Edition on November 6-7. I repeated this back to him, "Just to be clear. its a bug with your system, and even if the website says November 20-21 as my delivery date. I will receive my Founder's Edition on the 6-7th?" He replied "Absolutely"

So there you have it, looks like there is a bug in the system, and you can't trust the estimated delivery dates right now.
