GoSub for Atari 2600 on Homebrew Review (Go Play Something Else)

I know making a game isn't easy and I'm not trying to act like it is, but this particular homebrew doesn't add anything to the Atari 2600 library that didn't already exist before had. Take away the built in storyline that you're a sub searching the ocean for treasure and it's just another maze game, one with an irritating sonar and momentum physics that make it really hard to control. At first there seemed to be an octopus to add to the challenge, but then it just went away and never came back? I don't understand.
