WHAT IS A GSLT TOKEN?
A “Game Server Login Token” (GSLT) is a unique identifier used to authenticate your game server to Steam servers. This is required to host a dedicated server on Steam.
HOW DO I GET A GSLT TOKEN?
1. Log in to your Steam account on the Steam website
2. Visit https://steamcommunity.com/dev/managegameservers
3. Enter the wanted game by its ID:
Euro Truck Sim 2 = 227300 or
American Truck Simulator: 270880
4. Generate the key
Your GSLT will be displayed on the screen. Make sure to copy it and keep it in a safe place.
HOW DO I ENTER THE TOKEN ON MY SERVER?
After you have received the token, you can easily deposit it on your server via our web interface on the website.
1. Log in to your GPORTAL account on our website
2. Then click on “My Servers” on the left side of the page
3. Select your ETS2 or ATS server
4. Now you can click on “Basic Settings
5. Stop your server
6. Scroll down until you find the option “Server Token (STEAM)
7. Enter the GSLT token you just copied (simply paste it) and that’s it.
Start your server and have fun with your GPORTAL server!
