I used an amazing product called Quicksand by Hanz De Fuko which is a miracle product in a sense that it gives it a lived in, beachy and soft texture to the hair. It's very pliable and great for looking for a textures and lived in look with soft hold.

Cut: 3 3/4 guard on sides and back then blended in by hand.
Top: About 1 1.2 -2 inches on top till the front being no more than 3 inches.
Blow dry and use product to style.
