Here are the new settings explored in this seed:
- Boulder Shuffle - Every boulder and red ice is shuffled. Yes, that also includes King Zora!
- Grass Shuffle (aka Grass-sanity - Every cuttable patch of grass contains a random item. Grass patches are colored gold if they contain a major item (since Textures Match Contents was on). If you have played the OoT/MM combo randomizer, this setting should feel familiar to you.
- Gossip Stone Shuffle - Playing the Song of Time in front of a Gossip Stone will drop a random item.
- Wonder Items Shuffle - Wonder Items are invisible items in the game that will drop an item under a certain condition. These items will be marked in the game with a sparkle effect when shuffled so they can be easily found. There are 4 kinds of shuffled Wonder Items:
1. Proximity Drop (Yellow): Gives an item when Link touches it.
2. Interact Switch (Red): Drops an item when hit with a certain damage type.
(Sword, bow, slingshot, or hookshot)
3. Free Multitag (Blue): Gives an item when a certain set of tag points are touched. The only free multitag is the stepping stones in Kokiri Forest.
4. Ordered Multitag (Cyan): Gives an item when a set of tag points are touched in a specific order. The only ordered multitag is the grass stepping stones in Kokiri Forest.
- Shuffle Hyrule Loach Reward (Easier Behavior) - Enabling this shuffles the reward for catching the
Hyrule Loach at the fishing pond into the item pool.
1. Vanilla Behavior shuffles the reward for catching the loach but otherwise keeps all behavior the same as in the vanilla game. The loach will spawn every fourth play of the fishing minigame and the sinking lure will become available only after obtaining the fishing prize for Link's current age.
2. Easier Behavior shuffles the loach reward but also modifies some behavior in order to make the loach easier to catch. When enabled the loach will always spawn at the fishing pond, the sinking lure will be available immediately at all four possible positions, and the child/adult fishing prizes are still obtainable if you use the sinking lure.
- Shuffle Enemy Souls (All) - Another setting brought over from the OoT/MM Combo Randomizer. Enabling this will prevent enemies from spawning into the world until their "Soul" has been collected. Each enemy type will have a soul added into the item pool. This potentially blocks the player from collecting certain checks since those checks can only be done when all enemies in certain rooms have been defeated.
- Shuffle Fishing Game Fish (aka Fish-sanity) - The fish in the fishing pond will now appear as items that must be reeled in with the fishing rod in order to be obtained. As a result, the fishing rod and the individual fish for both ages are shuffled into the pool. Truly hilarious!
- Hint Distribution: Important Checks - 6 Path hints (1 each) and 34 important check hints at 1 each telling you how many major items are in an area.
- Ice Trap Custom % - A percentage of junk items will turn into Ice Traps.
