Gravbot was a game created by Phobic Studios. The developer company closed operations in 2014 without any reason cited as to why. Later (2015 according to what information I found in the past) some developers from the company formed IddyBiddyGames, which attempted to revive the Bounce On Series, a series of platformer games by the same developers.
Unfortunately due to developers having dispersed into other jobs and being busy with life matters, like family, the games could not be supported. After years of being up on app stores, the developers decided to remove Gravbot and all Bounce Ons from the stores, due to new OS upgrades requiring them to work on the games, something they couldn't do. You wouldn't want to spend money on a game and have it not work at all, would you?
Gravbot was lost and unlike Bounce Ons was even harder to find.
When I made my Bounce On soundtracks, a dude started lingering around my social circles constantly spewing about how much he wanted to find Gravbot. I hadn't cared much... or at all honestly, because the game wasn't really something I cared that much and I couldn't find it anyway, so I thought it was a lost cause. But that guy was adamant, he created a whole Discord server for it, constantly posting updates in my server about the most benign things. Because of that people on my server, myself included got really sick of that guy. I banned him and blocked him. He later got me to unblock him, but still kept sending me random updates about the littlest of things... like "[Some guy] got an email response from Phobic Studio employee!". Just annoying in general. However in the end I have to admit that this soundtrack video wouldn't really be here without his fanatic search.
The guy eventually started telling me about how an IPA (iOS application installer I think) was found for Gravbot. I was looking for an APK (Android application installer). You can open APK files through an Archive File Explorer like 7zip, which I used for the two Bounce Ons. However I never worked with IPA files before and I didn't even know they could be opened by 7zip too. Because of that I constantly dismissed any mention of that for months, maybe even a year and I am sorry for that. This video would've come out sooner had I not been ignorant of that fact.
