Ever wonder what experiments astronauts carry out in space? Gravity Lab has it's own idea how it would occupy their time.
You enter the space station, based on the moon and are immediately set a number of puzzles that require you to use state of the art technology. The goal of each puzzle is to get the correct object into the right container.
You select various items from the menu found on the back of your right hand, initially these could be conveyor plates, gravity changing portals or catapulting vacuum tubes. Along the way you made need to pass an object through a gate/portal that will act as a switch and very soon you are needing to create multiple paths to complete a puzzle.
There are three difficulty levels in total, the initial beginners level will teach you the majority of the tricks you will need to complete the majority of challenges ahead of you.
The tracking works really well, as you would expect, there are no obstacles to navigate around here, this is simply move to the location you want to place an object, select the item from the menu and place to direct the moving objects into the end bin.
Visually the rooms that you complete the puzzles in are stark with a view out the windows onto the moons surface and the earth in the distance. The objects you interact with are well drawn very clear and where needed animations are clean and consistent as are the physics so you know immediately what will happen when placing an item.
This is an interesting addition to the puzzle genre and is enjoyable to play around with the physics in game, something that you can do yourself in the level creator.
