The late great “Smokin’” Joe Frazier attempts to dominate the Tournament rankings and must then challenge some of the Greatest Heavyweights that were created during Career mode, along with the man himself.
I dedicated this run to Joe Frazier. While he is not nearly as popular as Muhammad Ali, he proved that he could compete with greatness and was even the first to beat him at the professional level. Respect!
Played by Daniel “DTysonator” Teixeira in November 2011 (Tournament mode) and during mid 2016 (Career mode opponents + mirror match) on an original Japanese Mega Drive console and a model 1 Sega Genesis console, while using an official 6 button Sega Genesis controller, the official Greatest Heavyweights Japanese Mega Drive and Sega Genesis cartridges, with absolutely no cheating devices or rapid fire/turbo buttons.
