Greetings fellow gamers! This is Gamer Guy (In a Suit) from the Echo Army YouTube channel! Today I am bringing you a look at a couple of games that came across in Steam Greenlight. This Greenlight Spotlight, as i like to call it, will highlight some games that independent developers would like to get onto Steam via the Greenlight program.

First up this week is Lupinball

Werewolf dodgeball in a top-down arena. Yeah that’s a high concept right there.
It sure is, Kotaku. It sure is.

SUMMARY
Lupinball stars between 2 and 4 unlucky wolves, all having to outlast each other in a tiny battlefield each round.

Standing still is the key to failure! You must collect small orbs to power yourself up, then use that power to fire wolf hadouk-..er, power shots at your opponents!

Power shots never stop flying around, bouncing off walls and shields until they either break open an item box, or kill an opponent careless enough to stand in its way. As you can imagine, the arena gets much more chaotic and dangerous as the round continues, so stay focused and keep moving (and shooting)!

Lupinball was selected for the PAX Aus Indie Showcase 2015.

KEY FEATURES
Fast and chaotic fun for between 2 and 4 players!
Overwhelm your opponents by firing shots at them...
...or shield yourself from enemy shots! Use your power wisely, youre vulnerable until you collect more!
Local and network multiplayer!
Several unique stages, such as within a table football set or on top of a scrolling music box! Theres never a bad place to have a biff between wolves!
Highly animated and colourful pixel art, which makes those small characters stand out on screen and is easier on the eyes.
Items that will make you go faster! Or block everyone else from powering up! Or flip the screen upside-down! Or...

Next up is Pixel Noir

Pixel Noir combines the great storytelling of film noir with classic Japanese role playing games. Think Earthbound meets Sin City.

Ten years ago you were a rookie on the force when you tracked that lead to an abandoned hospital, dragging your partner Detective Cold along. There was something rotten in that rundown place. You were in over your head, but you were too proud to admit it; and it was your pride that killed your partner. With the hospital burned to the ground and nothing to exonerate you, they threw you in jail for the crime. For ten years you were haunted by unanswered questions and unspeakable horror, frightened by what you saw, what you did - and what you could still do.

Now you’re scraping by as a private eye, running a business out of a crappy apartment in downtown Pinnacle. Chasing down cheaters and lost pets isn’t much, but it’s enough to distract you from the voices you still hear at night and the monsters that always seem to creep into the fringes of your vision. But then something happens. A chance comes along…a chance to clear your name once and for all. With your sanity at stake, how can you afford not to take it?
