Welcome to the second season of GRID 2's auto showcase.
Since we've received positive feedback from GRID's community when we shared the season 1 playlist, it encouraged me to move on with season 2 after a long hiatus, focusing on my other projects.
Season 2 continues with two iconic machines in the world of both production and professional automotive motorsports - two leading brands: McLaren and Mercedes Benz. We all know them for being bitter rivals in the F1 league and the LeMans ever since the 1997 duel at Sarthe between the all-reigning McLaren F1 and the Legend Slayer, the CLK-GTR. Their rivalry strengthened as the years have passed and so did the growth of their equally supportive fans. Their rivalry bloomed into a partnership as they collaborated to create the SLR McLaren - an already-deadly supercar by the numbers alone.
Ever since Lindsey Stirling returns with her new album "Shatter Me", the moment I listened to it, I can't get enough of it. When I heard "Roundtable Rival" Something European came to mind and to add the hype, I decided to make it a 2-in-1 GRID auto showcase video. It's just that damn good.
All in all, it went well and like my R35-V video and the Z-tune, I can't stop watching this when it was complete. The hype was there, and everything in between. All thanks to Lindsey Stirling's inspirational and creative mind. Ah, if only I live in the USA...
