Welcome to the second season of GRID 2's auto showcase.
Since we've received positive feedback from GRID's community when we shared the season 1 playlist, it encouraged me to move on with season 2 after a long hiatus, focusing on my other projects.
We kick off season 2 with my most favorite car in the world - the Nissan Skyline R34. What is featured here is not just your ordinary R34 GT-R. It's the Nismo Z-tune. Only 100 of these bad boys were made by Nismo; the rest being duplicates through their sold bodykits. There was someone who requested this to be themed after my original character from the Supido no Densetsu Series (too lazy to backtrack who requested it, lol) and after a lot of brainstorming, I gave in to his request but I'm not naming it after my OC and make it to some other anime-opening-video style (though that did get popular; I'm referring to my R35-V showcase).
I focused on the first half on the transformation from your usual masterpiece - the silver-only Z-tune to my Original Custom "V-tune" that I referenced for my series' character's car, hued in its majestic Bay-side blue trim with Mines inspired / BBS mesh wheels.
With the music being another Lindsey single, I want to transform the showcase into something as great as Lindsey's music vid of her own composition. Hers was pretty direct in terms of explaining the song title while I went for a more abstract approach. If there are any elements here, I'd focus on the light-works mostly daylight, and daybreak, followed by other car-related elements such as backfires, sparks, tire smoke. I was gonna include a night theme to complete the lighting elements but Okutama was badly overused so I scratched the idea.
All in all, it went well and like my R35-V video, I can't stop watching this when it was complete.
