Yep, can't beat it.

Sadly it's poorly designed or rather, designed to intentionally force you to try 50 times because tactics and reading the boss is much more important than pure skill.

I will never understand and never enjoy the "work before you enjoy" design philosophy that won't let you enjoy a game until you practiced for at least an hour or more

I tried the boss 5 times and it still confuses me to no end with varying attack patterns, attacking timings, timing between tell and damage, timing for parrying and the various attack phases you can't tell apart (at least without spending hours fighting the boss) so that you are constantly confused and don't know what's going on.

It's a fight full of trolling and gotcha moments until you tried it for long enough to know every detail. Especially since it focuses so much on parry since attacking is very risky even during idle phases (hard to tell if idle or just about to attack) but the game never trained you for such precise parry requirements so it's just another frustrating aspect you gotta train before you don't die.
