As a kid, I got to hang out in working men's clubs around Yorkshire while accompanying my dad, who was a club singer up until the early 1990s. It was a welcoming world of Beef and Onion crisps, fizzy drinks and battered but earnest glitz. In Sequins, I'll be remembering my experiences growing up in Clubland, joined by my dad. For a long time I've wanted to capture a period of my childhood which I loved, and which directly inspired my own dalliance with music and performing.

For now, it'll be the two of us reminiscing, but look out for other performers joining the chat in the future.
